Approach

Using the most up-to-date science and a dedication to compassion, we change our dogs’ lives for the better. We begin by learning who our dogs are, what their emotional, mental, and physical needs are, and doing our best to meet those needs so they can be their best selves! Once we have that information and we’ve been able to improve the dog’s life, we then build a stronger relationship based on clearer communication and empathy. The path towards a happier dog begins with health, environment, and learning who they are.

A woman in a black jacket and black pants is in a wooded area, training two dogs. The smaller dog, a puppy, is sitting on a tree stump, while the larger dog, a black and tan breed, is sitting and attentively looking up at the woman. The woman is holding a treat in her hand, guiding the dogs during the training.

By understanding your dog’s L.E.G.S. you can dramatically improve their life!

L.E.G.S. (learning, environment, genetics, and self) is a system created by Kim Brophey and utilized by Claire, Certified Family Dog Mediator, in all her programs! We take a whole-dog view of the dog in front of us before making any changes.
